This masterclass focuses on the most accessible and frequently overlooked opportunities in gift planning—gifts that are often already aligned with a donor’s existing assets and intentions. Participants learn how to confidently identify and introduce stock gifts, beneficiary designations, IRA gifts, and Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCDs) as natural extensions of a donor’s philanthropic journey. Emphasis is placed on positioning these planning opportunities as service‑oriented conversations that add value for donors and their advisors, lower emotional and technical barriers to action, and frequently open the door to deeper legacy and planned‑giving discussions.e offer a variety of programs and services to support mental health, including counseling, support groups, and educational workshops.

Unlocking Complex Assets: Gifts of Real Estate and Business Interest

This masterclass equips fundraisers to confidently identify, position, and support gifts of real estate and closely held business interests—assets that often represent both significant philanthropic potential and increased planning complexity. Participants learn how to recognize donor readiness, understand which planning tools may be appropriate, and introduce strategic options in partnership with professional advisors. Emphasis is placed on aligning donor intent, asset type, and philanthropic goals while positioning the nonprofit as a trusted collaborator throughout the planning and execution process.

From Transactional to Transformational: Deepening Donor Commitment

This masterclass equips fundraising and advancement professionals to move beyond short-term, transaction‑focused interactions and toward transformational donor relationships rooted in trust, shared values, and long‑term partnership. Participants explore how donors evolve from making occasional, situational gifts to becoming deeply committed advocates and legacy‑level supporters. Through an emphasis on listening, emotional intelligence, and stewardship, fundraisers learn how to align donor motivations with mission impact—shifting the focus from securing a “yes” to cultivating confidence, connection, and enduring philanthropic commitment.

Charitable Trusts in Pain English

This Masterclass demystifies charitable trusts, translating complex planning tools into clear, practical concepts that support confident donor conversations. Participants gain a working understanding of how charitable remainder trusts, charitable lead trusts, and pooled income funds function as charitable trusts—why donors use them, when they may be appropriate, and how they support income, tax efficiency, and long‑term impact. Emphasis is placed on helping fundraisers recognize opportunities, introduce concepts in accessible language, and collaborate effectively with professional advisors while positioning the nonprofit as a trusted philanthropic partner.
